EDIBLE QUINCY

Edible Boston | Winter 2013

Soon after settling on the East Coast, I pitched a column to the food magazine Edible Boston. The conceit: food sourcing in a different neighborhood or town each issue, with the spots cherry picked by a local expert. The first installment was a hoot. I spent hours in Anneli Johnson’s backyard in Quincy, plucking raspberries off the vine and sipping homemade rhubarb juice. This is one lady who knows her food.
